Perfect for parties, BBQs, or just celebrating the weekend in style!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 boxes (3 oz each) flavored gelatin (blue raspberry, strawberry, lemon, etc.)

  • 3 cups boiling water (1 cup per box)

  • 1½ cups cold alcohol (vodka, rum, or coconut rum — ½ cup per box)

  • 1½ cups cold water (½ cup per box)

  • 2024 2 oz plastic shot cups (with lids, optional)

Instructions

  • Line a tray or baking sheet with plastic shot cups to keep things steady while chilling.

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together 1 box of flavored gelatin with 1 cup boiling water until fully dissolved.

  • Stir in ½ cup cold alcohol and ½ cup cold water. Mix until combined.

  • Carefully pour the mixture into 6–8 shot cups using a ladle or spouted measuring cup.

  • Repeat steps 2–4 for each additional gelatin flavor, using a clean bowl each time.

  • Refrigerate the filled shot cups for 2–3 hours, or until fully set.

  • Just before serving, add optional toppings like whipped cream, sprinkles, or candy for extra flair.

  • Serve chilled and enjoy responsibly!

Notes

  • For mocktail jello shots, simply replace the alcohol with extra cold water or lemon-lime soda for fizz.

  • Don’t overdo the alcohol—too much will keep the gelatin from setting properly.

  • Use clear cups to show off the vibrant colors, especially if you’re mixing multiple flavors.

  • Want to layer flavors? Chill each layer completely before pouring the next one on top.

  • Store in the fridge with lids or plastic wrap for up to 5 days. These aren’t freezer-friendly, so keep them cool—not frozen!

  • Party tip: Display the shots on a tray with LED lights underneath for a fun, glowing effect!
