Spiked Cotton Candy Cloud Float

Spiked Cotton Candy Cloud Float – Boozy Fairy Floss Magic for Summer

  • Author: Sam

Description

This Spiked Cotton Candy Cloud Float is a dreamy dessert cocktail bursting with fizz, creamy vanilla ice cream, and marshmallow vodka. With swirling soda, festive sprinkles, and a candy-cloud garnish, it’s the ultimate summer treat for pool parties or late-night sweet cravings. Anything but boring!! Simple to make, endlessly customizable, and guaranteed to wow—this float brings the carnival to your glass!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 scoops vanilla ice cream

  • 1½ cups cotton candy soda (or chilled blue raspberry soda)

  • 23 oz marshmallow vodka (or cotton candy rum or blue raspberry vodka)

  • Whipped cream (for topping)

  • Red, white & blue sprinkles (or edible glitter)

  • Optional: cotton candy tufts for garnish

Instructions

  • Scoop It Up – Place 1 to 2 generous scoops of vanilla ice cream into each tall glass. A chilled glass makes it even better!

  • Pour the Booze – Add 1 to 1.5 oz of marshmallow vodka into each glass over the ice cream.

  • Add the Fizz – Slowly pour in the cotton candy soda. Let it bubble, foam, and swirl—pure magic!

  • Finish & Garnish – Top each float with whipped cream. Sprinkle with festive sprinkles or edible glitter, and if you’re feeling extra, perch a tuft of cotton candy on top.

  • Serve Immediately – This is a float best enjoyed in the moment. Grab a straw and sip the magic while it lasts!

Notes

  • No alcohol? No problem! Skip the vodka and use marshmallow syrup or a drop of cotton candy flavoring for a zero-proof version that’s just as fun.

  • Make-ahead tip: Pre-scoop the ice cream into glasses and freeze. When it’s party time, just add soda and vodka, then garnish!

  • Try flavor twists with different sodas (cream soda, strawberry, even cherry cola!) or ice creams (cotton candy, marshmallow, birthday cake).

  • Don’t skip the chill. Cold soda and vodka help the float stay fizzy and frosty longer.

  • Add a splash of color with colorful straws, layered fruit, or even a drizzle of berry syrup down the inside of the glass.
