Ingredients

  • 2 cups Mountain Dew Baja Blast
    (or substitute with classic Mountain Dew + ½ tsp lime juice)

  • 2 cups ice (crushed is best for smoother blending)

  • 1 oz white rum or silver tequila (optional for a boozy version)

  • ½ tsp lime juice (optional, enhances citrus flavor)

  • Lime wedge or maraschino cherry for garnish

  • Extra splash of Baja Blast, for optional float


Instructions

  • Blend the Base
    In a high-speed blender, combine the ice, Mountain Dew Baja Blast, lime juice (if using), and rum or tequila (if making the boozy version).
    Blend on high for 20–30 seconds, or until slushy and smooth.

  • Serve It Up
    Pour the slushie into two chilled glasses. The texture should be light, icy, and slightly foamy on top.

 

  • Garnish & Optional Float
    Garnish each glass with a lime wedge or maraschino cherry. For a fizzy pop, pour a small splash of fresh Baja Blast over the top of the slush just before serving.

Notes

  • No Baja Blast? No worries—mix regular Mountain Dew with a splash of lime juice to get close to the flavor.

  • Make it tropical by adding frozen pineapple or a splash of coconut water.

  • Want it thicker? Add more ice. Thinner? Add a bit more soda.

  • Best enjoyed fresh! If you have leftovers, freeze in ice cube trays and re-blend later with a splash of soda.
