Try it with a pinch of shimmer dust for a magical glow.
Ingredients
-
2 oz white rum
-
¾ oz blue curaçao
-
1 oz fresh lime juice
-
1 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
-
6–8 fresh mint leaves
-
Crushed ice
-
Club soda (to top)
-
Garnish: lime wheel and fresh mint sprig
-
Optional: edible shimmer dust for glow
Instructions
-
Muddle the Mint:
In a tall glass or shaker, combine mint leaves, lime juice, and simple syrup. Gently muddle to release the oils—don’t tear the mint. -
Add Spirits & Ice:
Pour in the white rum and blue curaçao. Fill the glass with crushed ice, packing it in like a snow cone. -
Stir & Top:
Stir gently to blend the flavors and create that gorgeous swirling color. Top with club soda. -
Garnish & Serve:
Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and a lime wheel. Add edible shimmer dust for an extra magical touch!
Notes
-
Make it a mocktail by skipping the alcohol and adding a splash of orange juice or more club soda.
-
Don’t over-muddle the mint—too much pressure can make it bitter.
-
Use freshly squeezed lime juice for the best flavor.
-
For parties, batch the base ingredients in advance and top with soda when serving.
-
Edible shimmer dust is optional but makes the drink truly glow—perfect for evening events or celebrations.
