Jamaican Rum Punch Recipe: A Tropical Escape in Every Sip

  • Author: Ethan

Description

This vibrant Jamaican Rum Punch is a tropical cocktail classic that’s bursting with fruity flavor and island charm. Made with orange juice, pineapple juice, fruit punch, lime juice, and spiced rum, it’s sweet, citrusy, and totally sippable—perfect for parties, barbecues, or anytime you need a mini vacation in a glass. Serve it over ice, garnish with fresh fruit, and watch it disappear. Cheers to sunshine and good vibes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup orange juice (100% juice recommended)

  • 1 cup pineapple juice

  • 1 cup fruit punch (your favorite brand or homemade)

  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 45 limes)

  • 1 cup spiced rum

Optional Garnishes

  • Lime slices

  • Pineapple wedges

  • Maraschino cherries

  • Fresh mint sprigs

Instructions

  • Fill a large pitcher about halfway with ice.

  • Pour in the orange juice, pineapple juice, fruit punch, and fresh lime juice.

  • Add the spiced rum and stir well until everything is combined.

  • Taste and adjust—add more lime for tartness or more fruit punch for sweetness.

  • Serve over ice in tall glasses and garnish with lime slices, pineapple wedges, or cherries if desired.

  • For a bold twist, float a splash of dark rum on top of each glass before serving.

Notes

  • Make ahead tip: Mix everything (except ice and garnishes) up to 24 hours in advance and store in the fridge. Add ice and garnishes just before serving.

  • Want it stronger or sweeter? Adjust the rum or fruit punch to taste—this recipe is super flexible.

  • For a fizzy version: Top each glass with a splash of ginger beer or club soda.

  • Mocktail option: Skip the rum and add coconut water or lemon-lime soda for a refreshing non-alcoholic version.

  • Fresh lime juice matters. It brightens everything and balances the sweetness—don’t skip it!
