Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease lightly.
-
In a medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon for the crumb topping. Stir in melted butter until large crumbs form. Set aside.
-
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt for the cake.
-
In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
-
Stir in the sour cream and milk until just combined. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients, then gently stir in the sprinkles.
-
Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Crumble the topping evenly over the batter.
-
Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
-
Let the cake cool completely in the pan before slicing.
-
(Optional) Whisk together glaze ingredients until smooth and drizzle over the cooled cake. Top with extra sprinkles for fun.
