Electric Purple Party Cocktail – A Bold, Fruity Twist on a Classic Drink

  • Author: Ethan

Description

This Electric Purple Party Cocktail is a vibrant, fruity twist on the classic Long Island Iced Tea—loaded with bold flavor and a stunning deep purple hue. Made with vodka, rum, gin, tequila, triple sec, sour mix, and a float of raspberry liqueur, this cocktail is perfect for parties, girls’ night, or any time you want a drink that turns heads. It’s smooth, citrusy, berry-forward, and anything but boring! Quick to make and easy to customize. Serve it ice cold and get ready for compliments!

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ oz vodka

  • ½ oz white rum

  • ½ oz gin

  • ½ oz tequila

  • ½ oz triple sec

  • 1 oz sour mix

  • ½ oz raspberry liqueur (like Chambord)

  • Ice (to fill the glass)

  • Lemon wedge (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Fill a tall glass with ice.

  • Pour in the vodka, rum, gin, tequila, and triple sec.

  • Add the sour mix and gently stir to combine.

  • Slowly pour the raspberry liqueur on top to create a layered effect.

  • Garnish with a lemon wedge.

  • Stir before drinking if desired—or sip as-is for a layered flavor experience. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For a lighter version, reduce the amount of alcohol and top with lemon-lime soda or sparkling water.

  • Don’t have sour mix? Mix equal parts fresh lemon juice and simple syrup as a homemade substitute.

  • Chambord gives the richest color and flavor, but raspberry schnapps or crème de cassis work too.

  • Want to batch it for a party? Multiply the ingredients and mix everything except the raspberry liqueur in a pitcher. Add ice and float the liqueur just before serving.

  • This cocktail is strong, so sip slowly and drink responsibly!
